When they awaken on the third day, the protagonist realizes that what they wrote and altered in the book has become reality. However, after falling asleep the following night, the protagonist finds themselves back in the dungeon.

After the protagonist finishes exploring the dungeon, they awaken the next morning back in reality. Howard introduces the protagonist to a substance known as " Memory Residue" and explains that in order to change the protagonist's past, the substance must first be collected. After traversing the dungeon they locate Howard Blackwood, who appears to be running a general store within the dungeon. In their nightmare, they find themselves in an Otherworld-like dungeon. Curious, the protagonist decides to change some memories before falling asleep. The protagonist opens the book and finds that all of their memories are written in it, including all of their experiences and their entire life story. Howard Blackwood, the local mailman, assures the player that the book was meant for them before he departs. The protagonist receives a strange book on their birthday from an unknown sender from Silent Hill, Maine. If want to give them 50 dollars for this game, go straight ahead, you have been warned.Plot Note: Silent Hill: Book of Memories is set in the year 2010. The verdict: The game isn't horrible, but it doesn't even qualify as decent, it was a mediocre attempt at a game. Will there ever be another great Silent Hill game, or is this franchise dead. This isn't the Silent Hill I know, this shows what happens when little to no effort is put into a game, each stage must have taken them thirty minutes to put together. There is a level up system for your weapons and character, so now it's sort of like an RPG. The game play requires you to mash buttons with out any rime or reason.

I haven't touched it in about a month, what a let down. I had played this game for little over an hour and knew it was going no where. But guess what the next stage is, the same thing, and so is the next stage. Okay I guess there's nothing wrong with that. The first stage has you searching through a giant platform above what appears to be lava. The Game: The game started out promising enough, I was interested in what was happening. It's a dungeon crawler, yeah thats right. I only have two other Silent hill games and hoped this one would be great. I was excited about playing this game once I got my PSvita.
